At “WOODSIDE dining,” a restaurant known for its wood-fired cuisine, you can enjoy playful Halloween dishes such as “Witch’s Poison Apple with Maitake Broom,” where maitake mushrooms resemble a witch’s broom, and “Wood-fired Mozzarella with Bat-shaped Black Biscuit and Hanabiratake,” which pairs smoky mozzarella with a bat-shaped black biscuit. Additionally, the “Pumpkin Gnocchi,” a Halloween staple, is crafted using plenty of pumpkin, offering not only delicious flavors but also delightful visuals.

Witch ¥500 (tax included)
A cake featuring pear mousse with blackberry and cassis confit, topped with bamboo charcoal Mont Blanc cream. This dessert is inspired by a witch, with striking black and deep red colors.
A pumpkin carving contest will be held by 15 chefs from the kitchen team at Hakone Retreat före & villa 1/f. Among the intricately carved pumpkins, the top three will be selected through voting by guests and staff. The winning pumpkins will be displayed in the hotel’s free space, “Free Bird,” until Halloween, enhancing the festive Halloween atmosphere during your stay.
