Opened in 1914 in Hakone Sengokuhara,Hyoseki is a long-established hot spring inn.
The current Emperor stayed here when he was still Crown Prince, and the building is a traditional Japanese-style building that has been loved by many cultural figures, including Yosano Akiko, Yosano Hiroshi, Hirano Mari, Ishii Hakutei, and Kawai Eijiro.
