This special jazz session brings together Masaki Mizuguchi, a leading guitarist in Japan’s music industry, and Moreno Bussoletti, a versatile artist active as a pianist, accordionist, composer, arranger, and educator. Enjoy fine wine and cuisine while enveloped in soothing melodies, welcoming the New Year in luxurious style.


Moreno Bussoletti – Profile
Born in Alcevia, Italy, in 1964. He showed an interest in music from an early age, studying piano, accordion, clarinet, and composition during his childhood. He began his career as a professional musician at age 15 and studied music at the “G. Rossini” Conservatory in Pesaro, Italy. From 1979 to 1984, he performed with several Italian orchestras. Subsequently, from 1985 to 1995, he undertook extensive tours across the United States, Canada, the Canary Islands, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Slovenia, Greece, and Turkey. From 1995 to 1999, he performed as bandleader at the Intercontinental Hotel Yokohama Grand in Yokohama. From 1999 to 2004, he toured France, Denmark, and Finland with the trio “Primafila Band.” Based in Tokyo since 2004, he has been active as a pianist, accordionist, composer, arranger, and educator. Collaborating with musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds, he showcases his talent and versatility as a musician. His unique style and passion for music continue to inspire and delight audiences.
Masaaki Mizuguchi – Profile
From 1982, Mizuguchi studied under guitarist Nobuhiro Takahashi for three years, receiving instruction in guitar performance and music theory. He began his career as a composer at the TV production company Arts Port Music, but was soon scouted by French accordionist Patrick Nugier, joining his band as a guitarist and music director for seven years. During this period, he participated in recording sessions in Paris, performed in concerts mainly across Europe, and toured throughout Japan.
He has also performed as a backing musician for Claude Ciari and Izumi Yukimura. Currently, he is a member of the Herbie Thompson Group and Kei Marimura’s group. Mizuguchi also teaches at the YAMAHA Adult Music School.
